Bella - Brisbane Family Photographer

I have had the joy of photographing Bella for the past 8 years and it is such an honour to see the little babies grow into toddlers, then children, and every year I am stunned at how much changes in what seems like such a short time.

It really doesn't seem all that long ago that this sassy 9 year old was a cheeky little baby with the same bright blue eyes!

Bella was here for her 9th birthday photos this year and brought the same sass and glamour to her photoshoot that she always does. She is so much fun, a bundle of energy always ready with a pout and a pose! She has come to really love the tradition of our annual photoshoots.

Every year her Mum chooses a favourite photo to be the annual "one for the wall" and each year it gets harder to find that one standout.

Despite the sessions being on the studio grounds each year, we always find a way to bring a fresh look to her photoshoot, whether it is with a new prop, backdrop or image style I love the challenge of creating something new every year for her photoshoot. We also do the same with her brother on his birthday sessions so I have the double challenge of ensuring each of their sessions look different from each other as well!

Regardless of what time of day we photograph, the studio gardens are always a stunning backdrop to portraits. There are many little spots grown specifically to create little "sets" around the gardens.

Having a private space to relax and enjoy your photoshoot is a massive drawcard for a lot of families, plus with everything being right on site it means you are able to see your photos right after the photoshoot and create your artwork all in the one appointment!

As always, we captured some classic portraits as well as some fun playing photos, because for me it is important to document both a timeless classic portrait and the candid in-the-moment fun!
