Baby Hadley - Brisbane Newborn Photographer

It is a special honour to be contacted by a family I have photographed in the past to capture their newest addition, and for this family it was a particularly special honour.

The maternity session started like any other, sweet family photos with two beautiful girls, super excited about meeting their new baby brother in just a few weeks time.

But during the photoshoot Alex told me how they should/could/would have been here sooner. This was a rainbow pregnancy and they wanted to celebrate their baby who never made it earth-side as well as this pregnancy. I had a little think about how we could do this and the perfect opportunity came when the girls were running circles around their parents, all laughter light and a buzz of happiness. It was only fitting to include a butterfly for their fourth child as well.

Flash forward a few weeks and they were back at the studio, the girls Tilly and Zandi both so happy to present their new baby brother Hadley!

Hadley was such a little cherub, all chubby cheeks and soft hair, its no wonder his big sisters are totally besotted!

To turn the cute factor to a million we tucked him into a bed with a couple of little teddies. Yep, cute overload alright!

To contrast, next up we put together a lovely soft navy set with an adorable hooded jumpsuit and unlike a lot of babies who prefer to be snuggled and wrapped, Hadley was very happy about having his arms and legs out.

We included two rainbow setups at Hadley's newborn session to pay tribute to his sibling. The reason we use a rainbow is because it is a symbol of hope that can only come after the storm.
