This bit is my origin story.
Before I was a Brisbane family and newborn photographer, I spent 15 years editing TV shows which was basically living in a dark room with too much caffeine. Then came my babies, Sophie and Charlotte, and suddenly I had two tiny humans changing faster than I could blink. That’s when I picked up my DSLR camera for real and started capturing our story, messy, beautiful, and oh-so fleeting.
Now I do the same for families like yours. People hire me to take photos but what I really do is help you pause the whirlwind. I bring calm to the chaos, make you feel good in front of the camera, and create emotional, joy-filled images that capture your family’s real connection. And then I turn them into heirloom fine art prints so you can relive those moments for years, because blurry phone snaps just don't hit the same.

What do we wear for our photoshoot?
You don’t need to stress about outfits. I guide families before their session and recommend simple, neutral clothing that photographs beautifully and keeps the focus on connection rather than trends.
When should newborn photos be taken?
Newborn photography is usually best within the first two weeks while babies are still very sleepy and naturally curled. Sessions are calm and completely baby-led so parents can relax.
What if my child won't sit still?
All good! I don’t expect them to. The best family photos come from movement, cuddles and real interaction rather than stiff posing.
Where is your studio located?
My private studio is in Bunya on Brisbane’s north side, with families travelling from across Brisbane including Samford, Ferny Hills, Everton Park, Mitchelton, The Gap, Upper Kedron and Albany Creek.
What if we don't like the photos?
You only ever buy the photos you truly love. There’s no pressure and I guide you through the whole process so it feels easy and relaxed. The real challenge most families have is narrowing their favourites down!
